Just a quick explanation of what we're trying to achieve here
If you’re on this site, then it’s likely you have a love of football. Or you’re useless with Google, I've worked in I.T. so I’ve seen all kinds of craziness :)
We’ve all been there before, trying to organise the seemingly friendly kickaround. And there it is…….1 sentence that makes it sound so simple.
Well it’s not…
If you love football and have been in this spot before, then we already have 1 thing in common, hopefully as you read our articles, you’ll find more things you agree with or not……you know the exit.
Oh, as per my 2nd sentence…….are you still here? Okay, I’ll stop berating you. Who knows, this could even be the start of your love affair with football (or as our cousins over the pond call it…….Saaahccer or soccer). And all because you were rubbish with google. See, you kinda have something in common with us too, we were rubbish when we all started playing football, hey hoe we all start somewhere.
Anyways I digress. The aim of this blog, well is multiple things.
Make people laugh through the medium of football. Raise awareness of the game and it’s greater good. Act as a potential introduction to the beautiful game for people who have yet to make that jump.
Ok, now the serious part, jog on then. We also want to use this blog to promote some good causes (mental health, charity, champion women’s football and my general tuppence on all things football). I’ll be doing a few recurring articles like a “”Top 7 of…..” series and interviews with some of our players.
